Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Due to Fracture in Windshield

A jet carrying Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was discovered in the plane's windshield, per an official statement which stated that all passengers were secure.

"The plane landed based on established safety measures and all passengers, including Secretary Hegseth, is secure," an official representative said in a public statement.

He was traveling back from a short visit to the city of Brussels during the flight.

This incident isn't the first occasion that a US military aircraft ferrying a senior official has experienced technical problems.

Earlier this year, a American military jet carrying the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was required to return to Washington after suffering a mechanical fault.
