Miami put up eighty-six opening half points versus the Grizzlies

Miami Heat secured a crushing 146 to 114 victory against the Memphis Grizzlies in their initial NBA game after guard Rozier was arrested for alleged unlawful gambling.

Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups was additionally arrested as part of a broad federal probe into sports betting. Both men deny the allegations.

NBA Commissioner Silver 'Disturbed' over Recent Events

"The federal government has subpoena power... [it] can impose penalties, can take various actions that the league office is unable to.

"So, we've been cooperating from that point. And, of course, what they revealed recently was an indictment.

"Moreover 30 months later, he has not been found guilty of any offense, in justice to Rozier.

"Obviously, it appears unfavorable, but he's been suspended, and so it is a balance here between protecting people's rights and investigating."
