Harvard ex-president Summers Resigns from OpenAI Board
Ex-Treasury chief Larry Summers is leaving the directorate at the ChatGPT creator, just days after a collection of emails between him and late convicted sex offender the disgraced billionaire became widely known.
The economist commented in an announcement that he was "grateful for the opportunity to have participated, enthusiastic about the promise of the enterprise, and look forward tracking their advancement".
Summers, who previously led the prestigious university, announced on Monday that he would be stepping back from public responsibilities due to his connections with Epstein.
